Science Expo 2014

SCIENCE EXPO 2014

The science expo has been conducted on 25-02-2014 at Rose Mary Model School.

The event is designed to increase student excitement and interest in science through interactive, hands-on activities, games and demonstrations.

AWARDS:

The first credit for the group expo performance goes to Grade  9 B and for the individual expo performance goes to Grade 8 A .

The second credit for the group expo performance goes to Grade 9 A and for the individual expo performance goes to Grade 7 A .

EXPO OF 8A:

Joshua Daniel Jairus of VIII A:

Edge Detector Robot:

“My Robot could detect the edge & protect itself without falling down or being hitted.

I made this robot out of Induino & Programmed it using the 8085 Micro processor.

Another project of mine is the Distance measurement in meters & inches using an ultrasonic sensor.

The distance gets displayed in the LCD screen”

Boys of IX B:

“we planned to make our people aware of the Hazardous effects caused to the Aquatic Animals by Human Beings.

We created a model Sea World– Life under Sea Water, keeping in mind

that our Students would realize their role in

protecting the  Life of Aquatic Animals & Sea”.

EXPO OF 7A:
Philip Paul of VIII A:

“The scope of my experiment is to generate electric current from Magnets.

Here i used a CPU fan, few magnets attached to it- Developed a circuitry& made the fan to spin/operate with

magnetic energy”.
